About the Scheme
The “Uchcha Shiksha Protsahan Chhatravriti Yojana” provides financial support to regular undergraduate and postgraduate students in government colleges and state universities of Uttarakhand.
Benefits
- UG 1st Year: Monthly scholarships of ₹3,000, ₹2,000, and ₹1,500 based on 12th marks (min 80%).
- UG 2nd/3rd Year: Monthly scholarships of ₹3,000, ₹2,000, and ₹1,500 based on previous year marks (min 60%).
- Graduation Toppers: Lump-sum scholarship of ₹35,000, ₹25,000, and ₹20,000.
- PG Students: Monthly scholarships up to ₹5,000 and one-time awards up to ₹60,000 for final year toppers.
- Merit-based: ₹1,500 per month for the top 10% of students with 75% attendance and 75% marks.
Eligibility
- Must be studying in a Government College or State University campus in Uttarakhand.
- Minimum marks criteria apply (60% to 80% depending on the award).

Register on the Samarth portal: https://uttarakhand.samarth.ac.in/. Submit the registration form along with certified educational documents. Scholarship is credited via DBT after verification.
Documents Required
- Aadhaar card and Bank account details.
- All educational certificates certified by the Nodal Officer/Principal.
