The scheme “Tiatr Research Scholarship Program” was launched by the Tiatr Academy (TAG) under the Art, Culture and Museums Department, Government of Goa. It aims to encourage students to undertake research in Tiatr, its songs, and music.

Benefits

• Scholarship Amount: Decided by TAG from time to time.
• Publication: Approved research work is printed in book form by TAG.
• Copies: Each student receives 100 copies of their printed work.
• Number of Scholarships: Offered annually: PhD (1), Post-Graduation (3), Graduation (6).

*A scholarship is given only once per category for an applicant.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be a bonafide student conducting research/project related to Tiatr.
• Research must be in English or Konkani (Roman script only).
• Minimum 50% marks in the last examination.
• Submit a report signed by the guide or head of the institution.

Application Process

Offline/Online:

• Step 1: Print the prescribed application format.
• Step 2: Fill all fields and attach self-attested documents.
• Step 3: Submit to Tiatr Academy of Goa, Campal Trade Centre, Panaji.

Documents Required

• Self-Attested Copy of Aadhaar Card and PAN Card.
• Report of the Research (Signed by Guide/Institution Head).
• Copy of Mark Sheet / Certificate of Last Examination.
• Proof of Bonafide Student Status.
• (Post-selection) Certified copy of full Research Work.
