Super IAS 500 Scholarship Manipur is a scholarship initiative launched by the Manipur government to support and encourage meritorious and brilliant IAS aspirants in the state. The scholarship will provide offline coaching facilities by renowned IAS mentors from the Alternative Learning System (ALS), Delhi, and will be held at the State Academy Training (SAT) at Takyelpat with state government funding. The first phase of the coaching program began on November 8, 2021, and will last until April 2022. The scholarship aims to help candidates avoid expensive coaching programs outside the state and provide them with an opportunity to receive quality civil service training within the state
Benefits
The scholarship program provides offline coaching facilities by renowned IAS mentors from the Alternative Learning System (ALS), Delhi, at the State Academy of Training (SAT) in Takyelpat, Manipur.
The top 200 students in the Scholarship Exam will receive a full scholarship from the Manipur government and will be provided offline classes at SAT.
Students ranked 201 to 500 will be eligible for ALS Institute grants ranging from 40% to 75%, based on their ranking.
The government plans to construct a permanent facility with hostel accommodations for holding UPSC examination coaching classes.
The Chief Minister’s Award Scheme for Civil Services Aspirants has approved a Rs 2.8 crore scholarship for offline IAS coaching.
Eligibility
The candidate must be a domicile of India.
He/She must be a permanent resident of the state of Manipur.
The applicant must be a civil service student.
The candidate must be a Meritorious and Brilliant IAS aspirant of Manipur.
Exclusion
Government employees are not allowed to apply to the scheme
