Benefits

• Outstanding Differently Abled Gov/Private Employee: ₹ 10,000/-.
• Outstanding Differently Abled Self-employed: ₹ 10,000/-.
• Individual Serving the Cause: ₹ 15,000/-.
• Institutions Serving the Cause: ₹ 25,000/-.
• Government/Private Employers: Citation with Shield.

*Awards are conferred on 3rd December annually.

Eligibility

• Native/Resident of Puducherry for at least 5 years.
• Individuals must have a disability of 40% or above.

Application Process

Offline / Online (https://edistrict.py.gov.in/)

• Step 1: Visit the Social Welfare Department Office or download the form.
• Step 2: Fill the form and attach mandatory documents.
• Step 3: Submit to the relevant Deputy/Assistant Director or Welfare Officer in Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe, or Yanam.
• Step 4: Obtain an acknowledgment receipt.

• Aadhaar Card, Ration Card, and Residence Certificate.
• Recent Photograph and Bank Passbook.
• Disability Certificate.
• Pension Card (if any).
• Supporting documents for the specific award category.
