A part of Goa’s IT Policy providing subsidies to encourage IT units to adopt solar power generation for their operations.

Benefits

• 10% reimbursement of capital cost of solar installation.
• Maximum subsidy of ₹ 50,00,000.

Eligibility

• Proprietorships, Private/Public Ltd Companies, LLPs, or Partnership firms operating in Goa.
• Unit must run on 100% solar energy.
• Must be registered with Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA).
• Bank accounts must be linked to Aadhaar.

Exclusion

• Units availing benefits under the general Power Subsidy of the IT Policy.

Application Process

Online

• Step 1: Register on Goa Online portal.
• Step 2: Fill the application under “IT Services”.
• Step 3: Upload mandatory documents and submit.

Documents Required

• Incorporation Certificate, PAN, Aadhaar, and GST TIN.
• MoA/AoA and Udyog Aadhaar.
• GEDA registration proof.
• Contracts and receipts of solar power unit setup.
• Commencement proof (first bill).
