Description

This scheme supports tribal farmers’ cooperatives to improve food security and sustainable resource management by providing operational and infrastructural funding.

Benefits

Operational Assistance:

  • Wages for one resource person (Agriculture Diploma) and one peon at minimum wage rates.
  • Stationery/Printing: ₹25,000/- per annum.
  • Rent Reimbursement: Up to ₹8,000/pm (urban) or ₹5,000/pm (rural).

One-Time Assistance:

  • ₹1,00,000/- for computers, UPS, and office furniture.

Disbursement

  • Released in two installments (50% initially).
  • Balance released on submission of Utilization Certificate verified by Zonal Agriculture Officer.

Eligibility

  • Tribal Farmers’ Cooperative registered under Goa Co-operative Societies Act, 2001.
  • At least 50% of members must belong to the ST community.

Application Process

Offline

  • Step 1: Obtain form from Zonal Agriculture Officer.
  • Step 2: Submit filled form with self-attested documents.
  • Step 3: Forwarded to Director of Tribal Welfare for approval.

Documents Required

  • ST Certificates of members.
  • Registration and Constitution copies of the Co-operative.
  • Audit Reports (last 2 years).
  • Krishi Card and Aadhaar of all members.
  • Rent Certificate (PWD) and Bank Passbook.
  • Detailed Project Report (DPR).
