Description

Under this scheme by the Goa State Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation, financial support is provided to Scheduled Tribes members to start businesses and self-employment ventures.

Benefits

  • Individual: Up to ₹ 10,00,000.
  • Association/Societies/SHG/Company: Up to ₹ 15,00,000.
  • Beneficiary contributes 10% margin money.
  • Insurance covers life and business activity against natural calamities.

Eligibility

  • Must be from a Scheduled Tribe (ST) Community.
  • Family income must not exceed ₹ 1,00,000 per annum.
  • Age must be 55 years or below.
  • Must provide two guarantors (one must be a Government Servant).

Application Process

Offline

  • Step 1: Visit the Department of Tribal Welfare, Panaji.
  • Step 2: Request the proforma.
  • Step 3: Submit the filled form and documents to the concerned authority.

Documents Required (Common)

  • ST Certificate, Ration Card, Aadhaar Card, and Age Proof.
  • Income Certificate (below ₹ 1,00,000).
  • Self-Declaration affidavit.
  • Guarantor Salary certificates and Affidavits.
  • Sector-specific docs (Sale deed for agriculture, project reports, invoices for machinery, driving license for vehicles, etc.).
