Description

The “Seed Capital Scheme” by the Department of IT, Electronics and Communications, Goa, provides a grant to help startups develop their concepts into products.

Benefits

• One-time grant up to ₹ 10,00,000, as determined by the Start-up Promotion Cell (SPC).
• Available to 100 start-ups per year.

Eligibility

• Start-ups certified by the Start-up Promotion Cell (SPC) with a valid certificate number.

Application Process

Online/Offline

• Online: Register on the Goa Startup Mission website, fill the form, and upload documents.
• Offline: Print the proforma and submit via email to spc-dit.goa@gov.in.

Evaluation Process

• SPC inspects and verifies application contents and expenses incurred.
• Approval or rejection notified within 45 days.

Documents Required

• Detailed plan of action to create a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
• Documents as mentioned in Annexure 1.
