Description

The “Sarjansheel Goa” scheme provides financial support to institutions and individuals involved in long-term projects to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of Goa.

Benefits

• Grant of 80% of total expenditure, subject to a maximum of ₹ 5,00,000 per annum.
• The number of beneficiaries may be restricted based on fund availability.

Eligibility

For Institutions:

• Registered under Society’s Registration Act, 1860 or Indian Trust Act.
• Must be involved in long-term projects in Art and Culture.

For Individuals:

• Goan resident for 15 years or more.
• Must have contributed at least 15 years to the relevant field of Art and Culture.

Application Process

Offline

• The Director releases advertisements in local newspapers inviting applications.
• Step 1: Visit the Directorate Of Art & Culture, Panaji.
• Step 2: Request the proforma.
• Step 3: Submit the filled and signed form with documents to ACO-II.

Documents Required

For Institutions:

• Constitution/By-laws and Registration Certificate.
• Audited statements for the last 3 years.
• Detailed Project Report (DPR).

For Individuals:

• Residence Certificate (15 years+).
• Contribution report for the last 15 years.
• Detailed Project Report (DPR).
