Description

The scheme aims to provide financial support to voluntary Cultural Organizations to promote talent and develop a cultural environment in Goa. It covers maintenance and regular activity expenditures.

Benefits

Grant-In-Aid reimbursement of 80% of expenditure incurred in the last financial year, with maximum ceilings based on group categorization:

• Group A: ₹ 3,00,000
• Group B: ₹ 2,00,000
• Group C: ₹ 1,00,000
• Group D: ₹ 75,000
• Group E: ₹ 50,000
• Group F: ₹ 35,000
• Group G: ₹ 20,000
• Group H: ₹ 10,000

Eligibility

• Goan institution registered under the Society’s Registration Act, 1860 or Indian Trust Act.
• Preference for institutions involved in Cultural Education (music, dance, drama, fine arts).
• Must have conducted activities from own funds for the first year.

Application Process

Offline

• Step 1: Visit the Directorate Of Art & Culture, Panaji.
• Step 2: Obtain the proforma.
• Step 3: Submit the filled form with documents to the Director or ACO-II.

Documents Required

• Registration/Renewal certificate and Constitution of Society.
• ID proof of contact person.
• List of equipment and Managing Committee members.
• Activity report with photos and news cuttings.
• Rent Valuation Certificate (PWD).
• Bank Details/Cancelled Cheque.
• Audited Statements (Receipts/Payments, Income/Expenditure, Balance Sheet).
• Utilization Certificate of previous grants.
