Description

This scheme by the Directorate of Art and Culture, Goa, supports Goan publishers and authors by providing financial support for the publication of original books of high quality.

Benefits

• Purchase of up to 300 books, total amount not exceeding ₹ 50,000/-.
• The publisher must provide a minimum 15% discount on the book price.

Eligibility

• Any Goan publisher (individual author or publishing unit).
• The author of the book must be Goan (resident for at least 10 years).
• Applicant must have substantial publication experience.
• Must publish a minimum of 500 copies of the book.
• The book must contain 100% original content.

Exclusion

• Second editions, translations, and anthologies/compilations are not eligible.

Application Process

Offline

• Step 1: Visit the Directorate Of Art & Culture, Panaji.
• Step 2: Obtain the proforma.
• Step 3: Fill mandatory fields and attach self-attested documents.
• Step 4: Submit three copies of the book along with the form to the Director/ACO-II.

Documents Required

• Three Copies of the Book.
• NOC from the Writer.
• Printing Bill.
• Address proof of the writer (Aadhaar/Ration Card/Residence Certificate).
• Bank Details (Nationalized/Scheduled Bank).
• Undertaking from the Writer/Publisher regarding residency.
