Description

The “Scheme for Providing (Golden Jubilee) One Time Grant-In-Aid in Memory of Blessed Mother Tereza” by the Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Goa, supports underprivileged children, aged, destitute, and disabled people. It recognizes institutions providing safe environments, food, shelter, and healthcare for the upliftment of weaker sections.

Benefits

• An amount of ₹25,00,000 shall be sanctioned as a one-time grant to selected institutions/NGOs under Clause (A).
• The quantum for institutions under Clause (B) & (C) is based on committee recommendations.
• Total grants in each case shall not exceed ₹1,00,00,000.

Eligibility

Clause (A): Eligible Institutions

Includes Snehamandir, Lokvishwas Pratishthan, Matruchhaya, Children’s Rights in Goa, Caritas, Indian Red Cross Society, and others (total 29 listed).

Clause (B): Other Institutions/NGOs

• Must be registered with State Government authorities.
• Must be in existence for a minimum of 5 years.
• Must provide humanitarian service to at least 25 inmates for the last 5 years.
• Must have infrastructure of at least 50 sq. mts.

Clause (C): Enhanced Grants

• Specific proposals for upliftment of underprivileged children, sick, aged, or disabled.
• Documentation supporting the proposal is required.

Application Process

Offline

• Step 1: Visit the Directorate Of Art & Culture, Panaji.
• Step 2: Obtain or print the application proforma.
• Step 3: Fill mandatory fields and attach self-attested documents.
• Step 4: Submit to the ADC, Directorate of Art & Culture, Panaji, Goa.

Documents Required

• Proof of Registration with State Government.
• Proof of Existence for minimum 5 years.
• Proof of Humanitarian Service to minimum 25 inmates.
• Details of Infrastructure Facilities (accommodation, ventilation, kitchen, etc.).
• Copy of the constitution/bylaws.
