The scheme “Samuhik Kanya Vivah Sahayata Yojana” was launched by the Labour Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance and support for the marriage of daughters of registered construction workers through organized group marriage events. The scheme is implemented by the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (UKBOCWWB), Uttarakhand.

Benefits

• ₹61,000/- financial assistance to registered construction workers for their daughter’s marriage.
• ₹10,000/- per couple to the organizer for event expenses.
• ₹5,000/- to each bride and groom for wedding attire.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a registered construction worker.
• Registration must be completed at least 15 days prior to the mass marriage date.
• The daughter must be at least 18 years and the groom at least 21 years of age.

Application Process

Online – via CSC: Applications for mass marriage can be submitted at least 15 days prior to the scheduled date. Aadhar authentication of the daughter is mandatory. The marriage card should be certified and verified by the local village head, tehsildar, or councilor.

• Proof of Age (Birth Certificate/School Leaving Certificate/Family Register)
• Self-attested copy of the marriage card
• Certificate by local head/tehsildar/sarpanch verifying the marriage
• Self-Declaration Certificate (confirming no other department assistance has been taken)
