Launched in 2018, the “Salary Subsidy Scheme” is an IT Policy Scheme by the Government of Goa. It aims to boost employment for fresh graduates in the Information Technology sector.

Benefits

• Matching grant for salary paid to Freshers: Up to ₹ 10,000 per month (₹ 12,500 for Female Freshers).
• Duration: 2 continuous years post notification.
• Subject to annual evaluation for eligibility continuation.

Eligibility

1. Units must operate in Goa.
2. Eligible entities: Proprietorship, Private/Public Ltd Company, Partnership, or LLP.
3. Bank accounts of freshers and directors must be Aadhaar-linked.
4. Fresher must be employed for a minimum of one year.
5. Definition: Individuals with >2 years’ experience before post-graduation are NOT considered freshers.

Application Process

Online

• Step 1-4: Register and Login to the Goa Online portal.
• Step 5-6: Navigate to “IT Services” -> “Salary Subsidy Scheme”. Fill form, upload documents, and submit. Applications can be made quarterly/bi-annually/annually.

Disbursement Timeline

• Scrutiny: D+30 days; Approval: D+60 days; Disbursement: D+90 days.

2. New Unit Registration document.
3. PAN, Aadhaar, and GST TIN copies.
4. Memorandum and Articles of Association.
5. First bill showing commencement of operations.
6. Proof of employment (PF contribution, salary slip).
7. Aadhaar cards of freshers.
8. Udyog Aadhaar.
