Instituted by the Directorate of Women and Child Development, Goa, the “RAKSHAK PURASKARS” recognize individuals who show exceptional courage in protecting women and girls from violence or harassment.

Eligibility

• Must have shown exceptional courage in aiding victims of violence, attack, or harassment against women and girls.
• Open to all (Police, Doctors, Social Workers, Drivers, etc.).
• Must be a resident of Goa for 5 years or worked in Goa for 2 years.
• Age: Above 25 years as of 1st January.
• Must not have received another award in the same field during the same year.

Application Process

Offline:

• Step 1: Fill the prescribed application form and attach documents.
• Step 2: Submit to the Directorate of Women & Child Development, Panaji.
• Step 3: Collect the acknowledgement receipt.
