Launched in 1999, this package supports families of soldiers from Rajasthan killed or disabled during the Kargil War. It covers education, medical treatment, and help for war widows to become self-reliant.

Benefits

• Death (from 18.02.2019): ₹ 1 Lakh to dependents.
• Serious injury (from 18.02.2019): Up to ₹ 20,000.
• Training and employment opportunities for war widows.

Eligibility

• Applies to martyrs or disabled soldiers from the Kargil War.
• Application must be submitted within 6 months of the incident.
• For those dying while under treatment, the 6-month window starts from the date of death.

• Visit the official website or nearest Sainik Welfare and Resettlement Office.
• Fill the application form with soldier details, relationship, and bank info.
• Attach required documents and submit to the Sainik Welfare Office.

• Battle Casualty Report.
• Medical report (Injured) or Post mortem report (Death).
• FIR report.
• Ration Card, Aadhaar Card, and Bank Passbook copy.
