Launched in 2018, the “Quality Certification Reimbursement Scheme” is an Information Technology Policy Scheme by the Government of Goa. It aims to help IT units achieve international standards by reimbursing certification costs.

Benefits

Reimbursement of industry-standard quality certification costs, capped at ₹ 5,00,000 per unit. This is a one-time incentive for any number of certifications acquired during the policy period.

Note: Subject to budgetary allocation.

Eligibility

  1. Units must operate in Goa.
  2. Eligible legal entities: Proprietorship, Private/Public Ltd Company, Partnership, or LLP.
  3. Bank accounts of units and directors must be Aadhaar-linked.
  4. Recognized Certifications: ISO, HACCP, BIS, WHO-GMP, ZED, TS, COPC, eSCM, Hallmark, and others recognized by the Government.

Exclusion

Units availing similar incentives under other Goa Government policies are ineligible.

Application Process

Online

  • Step 1-4: Register and Login to the Goa Online portal.
  • Step 5: Navigate to “IT Services” -> “Quality Certification Reimbursement Scheme”.
  • Step 6: Fill form, upload documents, and submit. Application can be made quarterly/bi-annually/annually.

Disbursement Timeline

  • Scrutiny: D+30 days; Approval: D+60 days; Disbursement: D+90 days.

Documents Required

  1. Incorporation Certificate.
  2. New Unit Registration.
  3. PAN, Aadhaar, and GST TIN copies.
  4. Memorandum and Articles of Association.
  5. First bill showing commencement of operations.
  6. Copies of Quality Certificate(s).
  7. Bills/Receipts/Proof of payment for certification expenses.
  8. Udyog Aadhaar.
