The scheme “Production of Tiatr in Villages/Urban Areas/Educational Institutions” by the Tiatr Academy of Goa aims to explore hidden singing and acting talents among youths and promote tiatr culture in rural and urban areas. It provides both financial and technical support for production.

- Payment is made directly to service providers upon receipt of an observer’s certificate.
Eligibility
- Applicants can be Educational Institutions, Cultural Associations, Dramatic Troupes, or Individuals.
- Artistes must be from the particular village/urban area/parish; max 3 outside artistes allowed.
- The tiatr must follow the original format: 6-7 acts, 4 cantos, comedy linked to the story, and at least 14 Kantaram.
- First performance only; no tickets can be charged (public entry must be free).
Conditions
- Performances must be staged in the production’s local area.
- TAG banner must be displayed.
- Statement of expenditure with original bills must be submitted.
- Must provide 20 invitation passes for TAG representatives.
Application Process
Offline
- Step 1-3: Submit the application, typed script, and documents to TAG at least 30 days in advance.
- Post-Application: Coordinate practice schedules, arrange for the Chief Guest, collect the banner, and stage the performance. Cooperate with the TAG observer for certification.
Documents Required
- Aadhaar and PAN copies.
- Typed script and lyrics; NOC from writer (if applicable).
- List of participants with addresses.
- Post-performance: Statement of expenditure, 5 photographs, and Observer’s Certificate.
