This scheme provides benefits such as price matching and priority in payments.

Benefits

  • Price Matching: MSEs can match the lowest tender price if their quote is within 15% of the lowest non-MSE quote.
  • Tender Document Cost: Maximum rate of ₹200.
  • Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): Maximum of ₹500; no other security deposit required.
  • Priority Payment: Payment within 60 days of delivery. Failure results in interest at 0.75% per month.
  • Quality Standards: Applies to all departments including computer hardware, excluding certain Education Department purchases.

Eligibility

  • Applicable to Micro and Small Scale Enterprises.
  • Turnover must not exceed ₹6,00,00,000/- per annum for the preceding 3 financial years.
  • Enterprise should be permanently registered or acknowledged with Entrepreneurs Memorandum II by the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce.

Application Process

Offline

  • Step 1: Participate in tenders floated by Government Departments or Autonomous Bodies.
  • Step 2: Deposit earnest money (max ₹500) and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Step 3: If the quote is within 15% of the lowest non-MSE price, opt to match the lowest tender price.

Documents Required

  • Permanent Registration or Acknowledgment with Entrepreneurs Memorandum II.
  • Proof of Turnover (preceding 3 financial years).
