Benefits

Compost Assistance (Direct to Farmer Accounts):

  • Bio-compost: ₹100/- per metric ton (max ₹20,00,000/-).
  • Phospho-compost: ₹100/- per 50 kg bag (max ₹20,00,000/-).
  • Vermicompost: ₹50/- per 50 kg bag (max ₹6,50,000/-).

Infrastructure Projects for Societies:

  • New Tissue Culture Labs: 50% of cost (max ₹40,00,000/-).
  • Extension of Existing Labs: 50% of cost (max ₹20,00,000/-).
  • Modernization Projects: (Boiler modification, storage tanks, mechanization, etc.) 25% of cost (max ₹1,00,00,000/-).

Eligibility

  • Sugar Co-operative Societies and their farmer members in Gujarat.

Application Process

Offline: Eligible sugar co-operative societies should send proposals through the District Registrar to the Director of Sugar, Gandhinagar.
