“One Time Cash Incentive towards Completing ITI, Typewriting, Accountancy, Bookkeeping, Tailoring, Computer Training” is a Welfare Scheme by the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund of the Department of Sainik Welfare, Puducherry. Through this scheme, up to ₹10,000/- is provided to the unemployed Ex-servicemen (ESM) / Widow of the ESM / Dependent of the Widow of the ESM, to pursue specified programs.

Benefits

The actual cost of the course or ₹10,000/- is provided via RTGS/NEFT to the beneficiary’s bank account.

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be an ESM, Widow of ESM, or Dependent.
  • Must be registered with the Department of Sainik Welfare, Puducherry.
  • ESM must have become unemployed within three years of discharge.
  • Prior permission from the Department is mandatory.
  • Course must be ITI, Typewriting, Accountancy, Bookkeeping, Tailoring, or Computer Training from a Govt-recognized institution.
  • Excludes regularly re-employed or IT-assessed individuals.

Application Process

Offline

Step 1: Download or obtain the form from the Rajya Sainik Board.

Step 2: Fill fields and attach documents.

Step 3: Submit to Rajya Sainik Board.

Step 4: Receive a receipt. Application must be submitted within three months of course completion.

Documents Required

  • Identity Card of ESM/Widow/Dependent.
  • Discharge Certificate of ESM.
  • Fee Receipt.
  • Proof of Successful Completion.
  • Declaration.
