The scheme “Observation Home and Special School” was launched by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Puducherry. The objective of this scheme is to take care of the children who are juvenile delinquents by providing a Home where basic needs, education, and vocational training are provided.

Eligibility

  • Child must be under 18 years of age.

  • Child must have been admitted to the Juvenile Welfare Board.

Application Process

Offline

Step 1: Visit Social Welfare Department offices to request the form.

Step 2: Fill fields and attach documents.

Step 3: Submit to Deputy Director (Puducherry), Assistant Director (Karaikal), or Welfare Officer (Mahe/Yanam).

Step 4: Request a receipt.
