Launched by the Tribal Affairs Department on 02.10.2019, the “Mukhyamantri Madad Yojana” provides ration assistance to Scheduled Tribe families during births and deaths.

Benefits

  • Birth of a Child: 50kg of wheat or rice and cooking utensils (for the first or second child).
  • Death of a Family Member: 1 quintal (100kg) of wheat or rice.
  • Village Support: ₹25,000/- allocated to each village Gram Panchayat for purchasing utensils.

Note: Rice is provided in 6 districts (Mandla, Dindori, Balaghat, Shahdol, Anuppur, Umaria). Wheat is provided in 14 districts (Jhabua, Alirajpur, Barwani, Ratlam, Hoshangabad, Betul, Sidhi, Seoni, Chhindwara, Dhar, Khargone, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Sheopur).

Eligibility

  • Must be a native of Madhya Pradesh and belong to the Scheduled Tribe category.
  • Must reside in a rural area within the 20 identified tribal districts.
  • No family member should be in government service (Class 1/2/3).

Application Process (Offline)

  • Step 1: Contact the Gram Panchayat Secretary.
  • Step 2: Register the birth or death on the SPR Portal (http://spr.samagra.gov.in/).
  • Step 3: The Secretary selects the beneficiary and provides a help receipt.
  • Step 4: Use the receipt to collect food grains from the fair price shop linked to the Gram Panchayat.

Documents Required

  • Identity proof.
  • Domicile certificate of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Caste certificate.
  • Samagra ID.
