The “Mukhyamantri Bhagyalaxmi Bond Scheme” is implemented by the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board (GBOCWWB). The objective is to support the “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” initiative, prevent female foeticide, and meet the education and marriage expenses of the daughter of a construction worker. Under the scheme, a bond is provided in the name of the first girl child (up to 1 year of age) of registered construction workers.

Benefits

Under the scheme, a bond of ₹25,000/- (or amount resolved from time to time) is given. It matures when the girl child reaches 18 years of age. The amount can be withdrawn by the daughter after completing 18 years.

Eligibility

  • Construction workers must be registered with the GBOCWWB.
  • Eligible upon the birth of a girl child.
  • Benefit is given up to one girl child.
  • Application must be made within 12 months from birth.

Application Process

Process for ‘E-Nirman Card’ (Registration):

  • Step 01: Visit the e-Nirman Portal.
  • Step 02: Register and login.
  • Step 03: Fill the ‘Construction Works Form’ and upload documents.

Process for Scheme Benefit:

  • Step 01: Visit the Sanman Portal.
  • Step 02: Register using Aadhaar and E-Nirman Card Number.
  • Step 03: Select the scheme, fill the application form, and upload documents.

Documents Required

  • Identity card of construction worker.
  • Birth certificate of the girl child.
  • Aadhaar card of the beneficiary.
  • Bank form for obtaining the bond.
  • Bank Passbook and Passport size photograph.
  • Ration Card/Voter ID/PAN Card.
