Overview

Launched by the Minority Welfare Department, this scheme provides financial incentives to meritorious girl students from minority communities based on High School and Intermediate examination performance.

Benefits

High School / Munshi / Maulvi:

• 60% or above: ₹10,000/-
• 70% or above: ₹15,000/-
• 80% or above: ₹20,000/-

Intermediate / Alim:

• 60% or above: ₹15,000/-
• 70% or above: ₹20,000/-
• 80% or above: ₹25,000/-

Eligibility

• Minority community girl student in Uttarakhand.
• Secured 60% or more marks as an institutional candidate.
• Unmarried and not more than 20 years of age.
• Family income limits: ₹81,000 (rural) or ₹1,03,000 (urban), or BPL category.
• Maximum of two daughters per family.

Application Process

Offline

Applications are usually invited by July 31 each year. Forms can be obtained from the departmental office or https://minoritywelfare.uk.gov.in. Submit to the development block or district office. Funds are transferred via DBT after budget sanction.
