The scheme “Mukhya Mantri Mahila Sashaktikaran Yojana” was launched by the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, in September 2013. The goal is to provide skill development training to women suffering from violence and difficult circumstances to promote self-reliance.

Eligibility
- Rape victims, BPL women saved from trafficking.
- Acid attack victims, women who completed prison sentences.
- Abandoned or divorced BPL women.
- Women in shelter homes/girls’ homes.
- Victims of dowry or child marriage.

Applications submitted to the office of the District Women Programme Officer by post or in person. Applicants can also contact the nearest Anganwadi Centre.
