The “Monthly Pension for the Maintenance of the Parents of the Martyred Soldier of the Army” scheme was launched by the Home Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance for the maintenance and livelihood of parents of martyred soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

Benefits

A pension of ₹10,000 per month is provided to the parents of martyred soldiers.

Eligibility

• The martyred soldier must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• The applicant must be the mother or father of a martyred soldier.
• Death must be recognized as a battle casualty by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
• The annual income of the applicant’s parents must be less than ₹10,000.
