The scheme “Mission for Integrated Horticulture Development (MIDH)” is a centrally sponsored scheme that aims to ensure the holistic development of horticulture by providing financial assistance and technical support to farmers for the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, spices, flowers, and other horticultural crops, along with promoting modern technologies, post-harvest management, and value addition. The scheme promotes cluster planting, renovation of old gardens, use of advanced technologies such as protected cultivation, integrated pest and nutrient management, and horticultural mechanization to enhance production and sustainability in alignment with regional agro-climatic conditions.

Eligibility

  • The applicant should be a farmer.
  • The applicant should be a resident of Gujarat.
  • The applicant should intend to cultivate horticultural crops or undertake related activities.

Application Process

Online: https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/

Registration Process:

  • Step 1: Visit the I-Khedut Portal.
  • Step 2: Click on ‘Login’ then “Beneficiary Registration”. Select ‘Farmer’, ‘Institutional’, or ‘Except For the Farmer’.
  • Step 3: Select District, Taluka, and Village. Enter Account Number and Name, solve Captcha, and click ‘Save and Next’.
  • Step 4: Enter Mobile and Email, verify via OTP, and create a password.

Login Process:

  • Step 1: Visit the I-Khedut Portal and click ‘Login’.
  • Step 2: Click on ‘Schemes’ and then ‘Agricultural Schemes’.
  • Step 3: Select the scheme and click ‘Apply’.
  • Step 4: Click “Apply New” to submit.
  • Step 5: Update or confirm the application and take a printout.

Documents Required

  • 7/12 Certificate.
  • Aadhaar Card.
  • Copy of KHEDUT.
  • Ration Card.
