The “Micro Finance Scheme for Self Help Groups” is implemented by the Gujarat Thakor and Koli Vikas Nigam (GTKVN) under the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to economically empower women from Thakor and Koli castes through self-employment opportunities via Self Help Groups (SHGs).

Benefits

  • Loan Amount: Up to ₹60,000/- for small businesses.
  • Interest Rate: 5% per annum.
  • Loan Coverage: 95% of project cost covered; 5% contribution by beneficiary.
  • Repayment Term: 48 equal monthly installments (4 years).

Eligibility

  • Resident of Gujarat and member of an SHG.
  • Belong to Thakor or Koli caste.
  • Age between 21 and 50 years.
  • Annual family income up to ₹3,00,000/-.
  • Relevant experience in the proposed trade/business.
  • Suitable collateral required for the loan.

Note: 50% of the loan allocation is reserved for those with family income up to ₹1,50,000/-.

  3. Step 3: Provide personal details, address, income sources, and bank account information.
  4. Step 4: Upload Caste certificate, Income certificate, Aadhaar, Photo, and Bank passbook.
  5. Step 5: Preview the application and click “Submit”.
