Masala Shetra Vistar Yojana was launched by the Government of Madhya Pradesh under the Horticulture and Food Processing Department. The scheme objective is to expand the area and increase the production of selected spice crops through quality high-yielding varieties.

Selected crops

• Seed spice crops.
• Turmeric with rhizomes.
• Ginger.

Benefits

• Seed spice crops: 50% subsidy, maximum ₹10,000/- per hectare.
• Garlic, Turmeric, Ginger: 50% subsidy on planting material, maximum ₹50,000/- per hectare.

Eligibility

• Farmers not currently cultivating spices.
• Applicable for all sections, including forest rights certificate holders.
• Grant payable only once per farmer.
• Minimum area 0.25 hectare and maximum 2.00 hectare.
