The “Marriage Assistance Scheme” was launched by the Gujarat Labour Welfare Board, Labour, Skill Development & Employment Department, Government of Gujarat. Under the scheme, financial assistance is provided to female workers who are working in a factory/organization in the state of Gujarat after their marriage.

Benefits

• Under the scheme, female workers will be entitled to receive ₹11,000/- after their marriage.

Eligibility

• Only those women workers who are working in a factory/organization in the state of Gujarat where the Labour Welfare Fund is paid are eligible.
• The Labour Welfare Fund of the last one year must have been mandatorily filled by the organization.
• Application must be made within one year from the date of marriage.
• There should be a gap of at least one year between the date of employment and the date of marriage.

Registration and Application Steps:

1. Step 01: Visit the Sanman Portal.
2. Step 02: Click on ‘Please Register Here’ under ‘Citizen Login’.
3. Step 03: Enter Aadhaar Card Number, select user type, and enter Labour Welfare Fund Account Number.
4. Step 04: Click ‘Fetch’ and verify details.
5. Step 05: Set User details and Password.
6. Step 06: Login and select the Marriage Assistance Scheme.
7. Step 07: Fill out the form and upload relevant documents.
8. Step 08: Submit the form. A confirmation email with an application number will be sent.

Documents Required

• Passport-size Photograph.
• Copy of identity card issued by the contractor/employer.
• Aadhaar Card.
• Labour Welfare Fund Account Number.
• Proof of marriage.
• Bonafide certificate.
• Bank account details/Bank Passbook.
