The Agriculture Department of the Rajasthan Government provides the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandi Shramik Kalyan Yojana to enhance the lives of mandi workers. This includes health insurance, medical assistance, and financial support for education and marriage.

Benefits

1. Obstetric & Paternity Support

• Maternity: Female license holder Hammals/Palledars receive assistance equivalent to 45 days’ wages (unskilled rate) for up to two deliveries.
• Paternity: Male license holder Hammal/Tulara/Palledars receive 15 days’ wages.

2. Help for Marriage

• ₹50,000/- per marriage for a licensed woman and up to two daughters of a licensed woman. Apply 90 days before marriage.

3. Scholarship / Meritorious Student Award

For children of licensed Hammals or Palledars who achieve first-division marks:

• Class 10 (70% to 80%): Male: ₹2,000-₹3,000; Female: ₹2,500-₹3,500.
• Class 12 (70% to 90%): Male: ₹3,000-₹5,000; Female: ₹4,000-₹6,000.
• Graduation (>60%): Male: ₹4,000; Female: ₹5,000.
• Post-Graduation (>60%): Male: ₹3,000; Female: ₹4,000.

4. Medical Aid

• Reimbursement up to ₹20,000/- for serious illnesses (cancer, heart attack, kidney, etc.) if admitted to a government hospital.

Eligibility

• Farmers or agricultural laborers in Rajasthan.
• Workers must hold valid licenses from the market committee.

Application Process (Online)

Portal: SSO Portal

1. Register on SSO as a “Citizen” using Jan Aadhaar or Google.
2. Login and click on the “RAJ-KISAN” option.
3. Under “Citizen”, click “Application Entry Request”.
4. Search via Jan Aadhaar ID, select the scheme, and authenticate via Aadhaar.
5. Enter details (Bank, medical, etc.), upload documents, and submit.
