The scheme “Madhya Pradesh Fasal Vividhikaran (Crop Diversification) Encouragement Scheme” was launched by the Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The scheme aims to provide encouragement for crop diversification by supporting human resources for area overlap and marketing.
Benefits
- Permits costs for necessary inputs provided to farmers.
- Sanctions costs related to Human Resources (Manav Sansadhan) and Marketing (Vipanan).
- Assistance for a minimum of 3 years.
- Facilitates receiving assistance from other Central/State schemes for capital investment.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a Company, Firm, or Institution.
- Must advise farmers on sowing ‘Eligible Crops’ (excluding wheat and paddy).
- Eligible crops must not be covered under Minimum Support Price (MSP).
- Must confirm the purchase of the ‘Eligible Crop’ via tie-up with another firm.
Application Process
Offline
- Step 1: Prepare and present Detailed Project Report (DPR) to the Director, Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department.
- Step 2: Director establishes administrative arrangements.
- Step 3: Proposals presented to State Level Project Screening Committee (SLPSC) for review.
- Step 4: Recommendation sent to Cabinet Committee for Investment Promotion-CCIP.
- Step 5: Final approval granted by CCIP.
