Overview

The scheme “Low Altitude Guide Course” is implemented by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board under the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to train and certify youth from Uttarakhand as professional low altitude guides and provide them with skill development opportunities.

Benefits

The beneficiary will become a certified low-altitude guide upon completing the course.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be a youth from Uttarakhand.
• Selection is on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Total beneficiaries: 761.

Application Process

Offline

Applicants must complete the prescribed application form and submit it to the office of the District Tourism Development Officer. Shortlisted candidates are selected by a committee at the headquarters level.
