Launched on 1st August 2018, the “Labour Skill Training Scheme” is a skill development initiative by the Building and Other Construction Workers Board, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The scheme offers free skill training to construction workers aged 18-45 years and their dependents aged 16-45 years.

Benefits

The scheme provides free skill training to construction workers and their dependents.

Eligibility

For Registration as a Worker:

  • Resident of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Worker between 18 and 60 years.
  • Worked at least 90 days in construction in the preceding 12 months.

For Application of Welfare Scheme:

  • Registered under MPBOCWWB.
  • Workers aged 18 to 45 years; dependents aged 16 to 45 years.
  • Membership must be active.

Application Process

Online / Offline
Portal: https://labour.mp.gov.in/Default.aspx

Registration:

  • Step 1: On Shram Seva Portal, click “Registration of Construction Worker.”
  • Step 2: Apply online for registration using Composite Member ID and Samagra Family ID.
  • Step 3: Fill details and upload certificates.
  • Step 4: Submit and pay application fee online.

Application for Benefits:

  • Step 1: Click on Planning Application on the portal.
  • Step 2: Enter Labor Registration Number and choose scheme.
  • Step 3: Enter required info and upload documents.
  • Step 4: Click Submit.

Documents Required

For Registration: Aadhaar, Photo, Skill training certificate, Residence proof, Ration card, Bank details, Caste certificate, Age certificate, signature.

For Scheme Application: Identity card of member (parent), Student ID, Student photo, Marksheet, Birth certificate.
