Launched by the Tourism Department, Haryana, this scheme provides financial assistance to pilgrims from the State of Haryana who complete the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra through the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

Benefits

• Financial assistance of ₹50,000/- or 50% of the actual expenditure per person, whichever is less.
• Assistance is provided to a maximum of 50 pilgrims per year.

Eligibility

• Permanent resident of Haryana State.
• Must complete the Yatra through the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India.
• Must obtain a completion certificate from the MEA.
• Financial assistance is granted only once in a lifetime per pilgrim.

Application Process

• Step 01: Submit the application within two months of Yatra completion to the Director of Tourism Department, Haryana.
• Step 02: Use the prescribed format (Annexure “A”) and attach all relevant documents.
• Step 03: The Director scrutinizes documents and submits them within 15 days to the Administrative Secretary for approval.
• Step 04: Upon approval, payment is issued via Demand Draft.

1. Identity proof and Passport-size photographs.
2. Attested copy of Haryana Domicile Certificate.
3. Address Proof.
4. Attested copy of Yatra Completion Certificate from MEA.
5. Attested copy of Visa and Passport.
6. Declaration that the applicant has never claimed this assistance earlier.
