The scheme “Incentives for Meritorious Children (Students) of Workers (10th and 12th Class)” is implemented by the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HBOCWWB), Labour Department, Government of Haryana. Under this scheme, a scholarship (prize money) in the form of a fixed deposit will be provided to meritorious children of construction workers who have achieved academic excellence in the Class X/XII examination. Registered workers with a one-year regular membership are eligible to apply for benefits for up to three of their children.

Benefits

Under this scheme, the scholarship (prize money) in the form of a fixed deposit will be provided to meritorious children of construction workers who have achieved academic excellence in the Class X/XII examination as per the following:

  • 90% and above: ₹51,000/-
  • 80% and above: ₹41,000/-
  • 70% and above: ₹31,000/-
  • 60% and above: ₹21,000/-

Eligibility

  • The applicant should be engaged in building or construction work.
  • The applicants should be registered with the Haryana Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
  • The registered worker must have a minimum of one year of regular membership.
  • The worker must have an active membership with the Board.
  • The scholarship (prize money) will be provided to meritorious children of construction workers who have achieved academic excellence in the Class X/XII examination.
  • The incentive amount will be payable for up to three children.

Application Process

Online Registration of a Construction Worker under HBOCWWB:

  • Step 01: Visit the Official Website of the Labour Department Haryana.
  • Step 02: Click on the “Building & Ors Const. Workers Welfare Board” link. If you don’t have login details, click on “Click Here” to register.
  • Step 03: Read all instructions, tick the acknowledgment, and click “Submit”.
  • Step 04: Verification using Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP)- Family ID: Select the appropriate radio button (having or not having Family ID). If having ID, enter the number, fetch details, select member, and verify via OTP.
  • Step 05: Aadhaar Verification: Provide Aadhaar number and tick declaration. Click “Continue”.
  • Step 06: Fill out the complete registration form and submit.
  • Step 07: Login into the account using username and password.
  • Step 08: Pay the registration fee and add work experience of a minimum of 90 days of the preceding year.
  • Step 09: Fill in work details for the 90-day experience.
  • Step 10: Benefits can be availed once the experience is approved by the Officer.

  • Step 06: Fill in required details in the online form and submit.

Workers can track application status online through the official website of the Labour Department Haryana. Updates will be sent to the registered mobile number.
