The scheme “Incentive Assistance to Scheduled Tribe Farmers to Increase the Area, Production and Productivity of Sugarcane Farming” introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department, Gujarat, supports Scheduled Tribe farmers through cash incentives for high-quality inputs and modern techniques.

Note: This scheme covers a cultivation area of 500 hectares of sugarcane for Scheduled Tribe farmers.

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be a farmer from Gujarat state belonging to the Scheduled Tribe category.
  • The farmer must be engaged in sugarcane cultivation and demonstrate excellent production for the extra incentive.

  • Step 1: Visit and apply online at I-Khedut Portal: https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/
  • Step 2: Select ‘Agricultural Schemes’ and choose this scheme.
  • Step 3: Fill, confirm, and print the application form.
  • Step 4: Submit signed printout and documents at the concerned office.
