The “IELTS & TOEFL Training Assistance” scheme was launched by the Tribal Development Department, Government of Gujarat. It aims to empower Scheduled Tribe (ST) students aspiring to pursue higher studies abroad after class 12th. The scheme provides structured guidance, training, and financial assistance, including support for visa and passport processes.

Benefits

Financial aid of ₹3,10,000/- per student to cover IELTS and TOEFL training expenses.

Eligibility

• The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
• The applicant must have passed class 12th (HSC).
• The applicant should be residing in a notified tribal area of Gujarat.
• The applicant must intend to pursue higher education abroad and require training for admission.

Application Process

Offline

• Step 1: Visit the Project Administrator’s Office or the head office of Gujarat Tribal Development Corporation, Gandhinagar.
• Step 2: Fill in the application form and attach self-attested copies of mandatory documents.
• Step 3: Submit the application to the Project Administrator’s Office.
