The Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation and Technology (HSCSIT) awards fellowships to bright young researchers for training in University Departments/National Laboratories in Haryana. Fields include Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, etc. Candidates who have qualified JRF-NET (CSIR/UGC) or LS-NET are selected for Ph.D. work.

Benefits

• Stipend (JRF-NET): ₹31,000/- per month for JRF and ₹35,000/- for SRF.
• Stipend (LS-NET): ₹18,000/- per month for JRF and ₹21,000/- per month for SRF.
• Contingency: Annual grant of ₹20,000/-.
• Tenure: 3 years, extendable to 5 years total.
• Leave: 45 days per year.

Eligibility

• Permanent resident of Haryana.
• M.Sc. or equivalent with minimum 55% marks.
• Qualified JRF-NET or LS-NET.
• Pursuing full-time research in relevant science disciplines.
• Age limit: 28 years (5-year relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH/OBC).
