The scheme aims to provide comprehensive care, support, and treatment to patients suffering from Thalassemia and Hemophilia in Uttarakhand.

Benefits

  • Under this scheme, free blood filters, chelators, and blood are provided to patients suffering from Thalassemia.
  • Free haemophilia factors (life-saving medicines) are provided to patients suffering from Haemophilia.

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
  • The applicant must be suffering from Thalassemia or Haemophilia.

Application Process

Offline

Thalassemia: Patients must register at DEIC Centres in Roorkee, Almora, Nainital, or Rudrapur. Required: Aadhaar card, mobile number, and medical certificate confirming the disease.

Haemophilia: Obtain free factors from government medical units after registering with the Haemophilia Society with a diagnostic prescription and Aadhaar. Registration can also be done via the 104 Helpline.
