The “Haryana State Merit Scholarship Scheme” provides financial assistance to meritorious students from economically weaker sections to pursue higher education (Degree, PG, and Doctorate).

Scholarship Rates

• Matric level: ₹150/- per year.
• 10+2 level: ₹300/- per year (Duration: 3 years).
• Degree Level: ₹450/- per year (Duration: 2 years for PG).
• B.Ed / M.Phil / Ph.D.: ₹900/- per year.

Note: For integrated courses, the amount is based on UG rates for the first 3 years and PG rates thereafter.

Eligibility

• Citizen of India and domiciled resident of Haryana.
• Passed qualifying exam from recognized bodies (Kurukshetra University, etc.).
• Minimum Second Division in qualifying exam.
• For Rural Area Merit Scholarships: Minimum 40% marks in Matric.
• Parents must earn their livelihood in rural areas for the rural category.

Application Process

Online Registration:

Step 1: Register on the portal using Parivar Pehchaan Patra (Family ID).
Step 2: Verify OTP and cross-check auto-filled details.
Step 3: Select Department and College; create password.

Application:

Step 1: Login to the portal and select the scholarship scheme.
Step 2: Provide Course, Roll No., and eligibility details.
Step 3: Save and submit the application form.
