The “Haryana Shubhra Jyotsna Pension Scheme” provides a monthly pension to residents who participated actively during the Emergency (25.06.1975 to 21.03.1977) and faced imprisonment under the MISA Act or Defence of India Act.
Benefits
- Monthly pension of ₹10,000/- with effect from 01.11.2017.
- In case of the beneficiary’s death, the pension continues for the surviving spouse.
Eligibility
- Resident of Haryana who faced imprisonment (even for one day) during the Emergency.
- Widows of such persons are also eligible.
- Must produce a jail certificate. If missing, a certificate from two co-prisoners authenticated by an MLA/MP is acceptable.
- Domiciles of other states arrested in Haryana are eligible.

Online via Antyodaya-SARAL Portal:
Step 01: Visit the Antyodaya-SARAL Portal.
Step 02: Register as a new user if needed.
Step 03: Sign in and click “Apply for Services”.
Step 04: Search for the scheme and fill in the application form.
Step 05: Submit the form.
