The scheme “Haj Pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia” was launched by the Department of Hindu Religious Institutions & Wakf, Puducherry. The scheme aims to perform Haj Pilgrimage at Holy Mecca. The scheme provides an air fare subsidy of ₹24,000/- for each pilgrim and includes free medical facility while in Mecca. The applicant must be an Indian citizen who possesses sound health and has not performed Haj for the preceding five years. The applications for this scheme are accepted offline through the State Haj Committee.

Application Process

Offline

• Step 1: Request the prescribed format of the application form from the Puducherry Haj Committee.
• Step 2: Fill in all mandatory fields and attach mandatory documents.
• Step 3: Submit the application within the prescribed period to: Puducherry Haj Committee, Door No.1, 3rd Floor, Community Hall, MG Road Area, Puducherry – 605 001.

Payment details (Demand Drafts):

1. ₹10,700/- towards advance foreign exchange to State Haj Committee.
2. ₹61,000/- towards food and accommodation to Haj Committee of India, Mumbai.
3. ₹12,000/- towards air fare to Haj Committee of India, Mumbai.
