Benefits

₹5,00,000/- for accidental death or Permanent Total Disability (PTD).

Eligibility

• Fishermen/Fish workers aged 18 to 70.
• Approved by State Fisheries Dept.
• Registered in the district office.

Exclusions

Suicide, self-inflicted injury, alcohol influence, breach of law, natural death, or service in armed forces.

Application Process

Offline:

• Intimate claim within 90 days of accident via email, letter, or toll-free (1800-425-1660).
• Submit all documents to district office within 180 days.
• Claim settled within 15 working days or 10% interest paid.

Documents Required

• Intimation/Claim forms and Cancelled cheque/Bank passbook
• FIR/Post Mortem Report/Panchnama (for road/rail/fire/drowning)
• Viscera/Forensic report (for poisoning)
• Witness statements (for drowning)
• Disability certificate from government hospital (for PTD)
