Description

The scheme “State Scholarship to NDA Cadets” by the Directorate of Higher Education supports underprivileged cadets hailing from Goa who have joined the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla.

Benefits

• Scholarship of ₹1,000 per month during training (up to 24 months).
• One-time Outfit Allowance of ₹12,000.

Eligibility

• Cadet born in Goa and/or domiciled for at least 15 years.
• Family income limit (General): ₹15,000 per month (₹1,80,000 per annum).
• Family income limit (SC/ST/OBC): ₹37,500 per month (₹4,50,000 per annum).
• Cadet must not be receiving scholarship from any other source.

Application Process

Offline
Step 1: Visit the Directorate of Higher Education, Alto-Porvorim, Goa.
Step 2: Fill the proforma and attach self-attested documents.
Step 3: Submit to the department authority.

• Passport Sized Photograph.
• ID Proof of NDA.
• Birth Certificate / Domicile Certificate.
• Income Certificate.
• Caste Certificate (if applicable).
