Description
The “Gomant Vibhushan Award” is conferred once every two years by the Directorate of Art and Culture to honour Goan-origin personalities who have achieved national or international reputation in fields such as Art, Science, Medicine, or Public Affairs.

A Memento, a Citation, and a financial purse of ₹5,00,000.
Eligibility
- Must be of Goan origin.
- Exceptional achievements in fields like Art & Culture, Sports, Science, Industry, Medicine, Philisophy, or Politics.
- Not presented posthumously unless death occurs after the Task Force Committee recommendation.
- Individual is eligible only once.
Application Process
Offline
Step 1: Visit the Directorate Of Art & Culture, Patto, Panaji.
Step 2: Obtain the proforma. Recommendations can be made by individuals or institutions.
Step 3: Submit to the Director or ACO-III with full documentation.
Documents Required
- ID Proof of the recommender.
- Comprehensive Biodata of the recommendee.
- Passport Size Photograph of the recommendee.
