Implemented by the School Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, this state-sponsored initiative provides free uniforms to students of Classes 1 to 8 studying in government primary and middle schools. Launched on 1st July 2004, the scheme aims to promote regular attendance and reduce dropout rates.

Benefits

  • Each boy and girl student is provided ₹600/- for two sets of uniforms.
  • Stitched uniforms are provided to girls through the School Management Committee.

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a student of a government primary or middle school in Madhya Pradesh.
  • Applicable for Classes 1 to 8.
  • The student must be enrolled before 15 August of the academic year.

Application Process

Offline: No separate application is required. Eligible students enrolled in government schools are automatically covered. The benefit is distributed through the School Management Committee.

Documents Required

Documents should be provided as per the guidelines of the School Management Committee.
