Launched on 1st January 2008, the scheme “Free Distribution of Textbooks to Students” by the School Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, provides free textbooks to students studying in classes 9th to 12th in government schools.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a student.
• The student must be studying in classes 9th to 12th.
• The student must be enrolled in a government school in Madhya Pradesh.

Application Process (Offline)

Step 1: Visit the Principal of the Government High / Higher Secondary School office.
Step 2: Request and fill the prescribed application form; paste a signed photograph.
Step 3: Submit the form with copies of mandatory documents within the prescribed period.
Step 4: Obtain a receipt or acknowledgement with the date and unique identification number.

Note: School authorities can register on the portal as required.
