The “Free Cycles to SC Girl Students Studying in Standard IX (Sarasvati Sadhna Yojana)” scheme is administered by the Directorate of Scheduled Caste Welfare, Government of Gujarat. Under this scheme, free bicycles are given to scheduled caste girl students who are studying in Standard IX.

Eligibility

• Must be a girl student belonging to the Scheduled Caste Category of Gujarat.
• Must be studying in the 9th Standard.
• Annual family income should not exceed ₹6,00,000/-.

Application Process

Offline

Eligible girl students need to contact the principal of their school. The Principal has to submit the online proposal on the Digital Gujarat Portal (https://www.digitalgujarat.gov.in).
